Spy Photo: BMW Z4 M Sport Package

New BMW Z4 Spy Shots

New BMW Z4 Spy Shots

This Z3 orignally seemed a lot smaller compared to the newer Z4’s.
Here is a spy photo taken around Nurburgring of a BMW Z4.

BMW has said there will not be a M version but this looks to be a pretty sporty version.
They have not announced any engine or performance upgrades at this time.

Super Snake, Hennessey Camaro, SpeedFactory Challenger

Super Snake, Hennessey Camaro, SpeedFactory Challenger

Great Video Motor Trend!

I know the Super Snake didn’t do well, but you can always get your wheels and tires upgraded to get some more traction.  Too bad.  That Camaro was pretty bad ass though.

Audi R4 Electric Roadster

Audi R4 Electric Roadster

This new Audi R4 is due out in 2012.  With so many electric models out and new models being announced, it seems, weekly, Audi is getting in to the mix now.

The Audi R4 Electric Roadster will be a direct competitor to the Tesla Roadster which starts at $109,000, however there is no word on pricing for the R4.

“As in the e-Tron, the electric R4 Tesla fighter will be powered by a lithium-ion battery pack with four electric motors, one for each wheel. In lieu of a traditional power plant, the 1,036-pound lithium-ion battery will be placed in the middle of the car. The entire e-Tron concept weighs just 3,527 pounds and delivers a range of about 150 miles on a full charge, specifications that could change slightly as the production model moves into the prototype stage.” – InsideLine.com

Husker Hero: Ndamukong Suh [Video]

Another entertaining video of Balloon Boy!  This kid is something else.  The parents are another story…

I need one of these!  But for the $139,000 price tag I might just buy a real plane.

It’s the Icon A5.  A two seat, single engine amphibious airplane that can fold up to fit in your garage.  I do like the interior though.

Mike’s Husker Preview
Written By: “Mike”, the man-in-motion, giving us a running start on Saturday’s game.

Last year we played Tech so close because we kept their offense off the field.  I can’t remember what the time of possession numbers were, but they were largely slanted in our favor.  I haven’t seen enough consistency out of our offense to make me think we can do the same thing this year, at least not to the same degree.  I’m sure our coaches will call a similar game-plan to hopefully do the same thing this year and limit the time Tech has with the ball.  Personally, I think the success of our offense will determine the outcome of the game.

Defensively, we are worlds better than we were last year.  Although I don’t anticipate many sacks, our front four should be able to consistently collapse the pocket and put their quarterback into tough situations.  Our secondary is playing with far less breakdowns than last year at this time and tackling a lot better too.  Tech will have lots of completions and yards, but not nearly as many big plays as a result.  With that said, I think our defense will do enough to slow their offense down and give us a chance to win.

Prediction -  If Lee and the offense struggle, it could be a long day and possibly a loss.  If Lee plays better than he did against both Virginia Tech and Missouri, and Watson calls a good game, we’ll be fine.  I’m betting on the latter.  NU – 34, TTU – 24
